Accountant - fixed assets (Orlando, FL)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Hollow Health and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. You would join a small organisation of about 109 people based in Orlando. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to referrals, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around clinic supplies against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with referrals. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Orlando, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
