Accountant - fixed assets (Milwaukee, WI)

Rivermark Linden Facilities is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to work orders, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Milwaukee. • We reply to every applicant.
