Accountant - fixed assets (Miami, FL)

Greenridge Sable Financial Partners provides savings, lending and payment services from Miami, and we need an Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track costs around loan applications against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with vendor spend. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
