Accountant - fixed assets (Memphis, TN)

Bluepeak Bridge Health Group runs clinics and patient services around Memphis. We are hiring an Accountant to take on fixed assets. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Memphis. What you will do • Track costs around referrals against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with clinic supplies. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Memphis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
