Accountant - fixed assets (Madison, WI)

Harborlight Drift Health is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for clinic supplies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Madison. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around insurance authorisations against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to clinic supplies, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with clinic supplies. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
