Accountant - fixed assets (Louisville, KY)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Vista Manufacturing and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. You would join a large organisation of about 958 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around production lines against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with tooling. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
