Accountant - fixed assets (Louisville, KY)

We are growing our team at Nova Junction Staffing and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. Speed and follow-up matter. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around client orders against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with temp assignments. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
