Accountant - fixed assets (Little Rock, AR)

Stonegate Fox Learning Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for enrolment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Track costs around attendance records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to enrolment, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Little Rock. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
