Accountant - fixed assets (Little Rock, AR)

Stonegate Orchard Hospitality is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for reviews and feedback, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Promotion from within is common. What you will do • Track costs around supplier orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to reviews and feedback, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with reviews and feedback. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Little Rock, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
