Accountant - fixed assets (Little Rock, AR)

Bright Basin Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Little Rock. We are hiring an Accountant to take on fixed assets. You would join a small organisation of about 42 people based in Little Rock. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to field inspections, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with field inspections.
