Accountant - fixed assets (Little Rock, AR)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Loom Learning Group and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. You would join a large organisation of about 761 people based in Little Rock. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to learning materials, and clear open items. • Track costs around student accounts against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with learning materials. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Little Rock. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
