Accountant - fixed assets (Las Vegas, NV)

Bluepeak Cross Care Services is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for caregiver training, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to caregiver training, and clear open items. • Track costs around care plans against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Las Vegas. • We reply to every applicant.
