Accountant - fixed assets (Las Vegas, NV)

Bluepeak Yarrow Hospitality Partners runs guest-focused properties across the Las Vegas area, and we need an Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would join a small organisation of about 38 people based in Las Vegas. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Las Vegas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
