Accountant - fixed assets (Las Vegas, NV)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Lakeside Care Services and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to caregiver training, and clear open items. • Track costs around licensing against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Las Vegas. • We reply to every applicant.
