Accountant - fixed assets (Jacksonville, FL)

Silverline Sparrow Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Jacksonville, and we need an Accountant to lead our fixed assets. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Track costs around visit scheduling against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to client records, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with client records. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Jacksonville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
