Accountant - fixed assets (Jacksonville, FL)

Lumen Thistle Pharma Group supports drug development and manufacturing around Jacksonville, and we need an Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to release testing, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with release testing. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
