Accountant - fixed assets (Jacksonville, FL)

Bright Clear Care Services is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for licensing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to licensing, and clear open items. • Track costs around family communication against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with licensing. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Jacksonville. • We reply to every applicant.
