Accountant - fixed assets (Indianapolis, IN)

Lumen Thistle Pharma is a pharmaceutical company in Indianapolis producing generic and specialty treatments, and we need an Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would join a large organisation of about 505 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around clinical studies against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with cleanroom operations. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
