Accountant - fixed assets (Honolulu, HI)

Redstone Union Legal Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for client files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 704 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to client files, and clear open items. • Track costs around intake forms against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with client files.
