Accountant - fixed assets (Fresno, CA)

Foxglove Loom Property Management is a Fresno property manager with leasing, maintenance and resident services, and we need an Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to maintenance requests, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around lease renewals against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with maintenance requests. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Fresno. • We reply to every applicant.
