Accountant - fixed assets (Fresno, CA)

Cedar Bridge Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Fresno, and we need an Accountant to lead our fixed assets. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around deposit accounts against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with card disputes. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
