Accountant - fixed assets (Fresno, CA)

Foxglove West Care Services is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for care plans, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to care plans, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with care plans. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Fresno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
