Accountant - fixed assets (Fresno, CA)

We are growing our team at Bright Haven Pharma Group and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. You would join a small organisation of about 193 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to quality documentation, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around batch records against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
