Accountant - fixed assets (Denver, CO)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Amber Auto Group and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. You would join a small organisation of about 26 people based in Denver. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around vehicle inspections against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to parts orders, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with parts orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Denver. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
