Accountant - fixed assets (Denver, CO)

Amberfield Yarrow Inspection Services Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for test reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to test reports, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Denver. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
