Accountant - fixed assets (Denver, CO)

Harborlight Stone Care Services is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for client records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to client records, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with client records. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Denver. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
