Accountant - fixed assets (Dallas, TX)

Silverline Thistle Pharma Group supports drug development and manufacturing around Dallas, and we need an Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would join a large organisation of about 780 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Track costs around batch records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to cleanroom operations, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with cleanroom operations. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
