Accountant - fixed assets (Dallas, TX)

Greenridge Mill Environmental Services is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for collection routes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to collection routes, and clear open items. • Track costs around service complaints against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with collection routes. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Dallas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
