Accountant - fixed assets (Colorado Springs, CO)

Bright Thistle Medical is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for clinical evaluations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around complaint handling against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with clinical evaluations. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Colorado Springs, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
