Accountant - fixed assets (Cincinnati, OH)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Summit Markets and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to supplier deliveries, and clear open items. • Track costs around shrink and waste against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
