Accountant - fixed assets (Cincinnati, OH)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Bright Press and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to paper stock, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around print quotes against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with paper stock. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
