Accountant - fixed assets (Charleston, SC)

Clearpath Cedar Health Group provides primary and specialty care in Charleston. We are hiring an Accountant to take on fixed assets. You would join a large organisation of about 749 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around clinic supplies against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to patient scheduling, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with patient scheduling. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
