Accountant - fixed assets (Charleston, SC)

Stonegate Quill Health provides primary and specialty care in Charleston. We are hiring an Accountant to take on fixed assets. You would join a small organisation of about 161 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Track costs around patient scheduling against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to electronic records, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with electronic records. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
