Accountant - fixed assets (Boise, ID)

Silverline Wilder Property Management Group is a Boise property manager with leasing, maintenance and resident services. We are hiring an Accountant to take on fixed assets. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people based in Boise. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to resident events, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with resident events. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Boise, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
