Accountant - fixed assets (Atlanta, GA)

We are growing our team at Silverline Corner Medical and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Track costs around training materials against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to device records, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Atlanta. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
