Accountant - fixed assets (Atlanta, GA)

Clearpath North Learning Group is an education provider in Atlanta serving students and families, and we need an Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around school calendars against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to family communication, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Atlanta. • We reply to every applicant.
