Accountant - fixed assets (Atlanta, GA)

Greenridge Meadow Medical is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for training materials, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 644 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to training materials, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with training materials. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
