Accountant - fixed assets (Atlanta, GA)

Northwind Juniper Inspection Services Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for test reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around client sites against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to test reports, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
