Accountant - fixed assets (Albuquerque, NM)

Greenridge Summit Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Albuquerque. We are hiring an Accountant to take on fixed assets. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around vendor spend against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with customer onboarding. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Albuquerque. • We reply to every applicant.
