Accountant - audit preparation (Tulsa, OK)

Harborlight Meadow Manufacturing Partners is a Tulsa manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need an Accountant to lead our audit preparation. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around customer orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to machine downtime, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Tulsa. • We reply to every applicant.
