Accountant - audit preparation (St. Louis, MO)

Nova Summit Press Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on audit preparation for print quotes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to print quotes, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around paper stock against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with print quotes.
