Accountant - audit preparation (Savannah, GA)

Rivermark Glen Health Partners runs clinics and patient services around Savannah. We are hiring an Accountant to take on audit preparation. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to clinic supplies, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with clinic supplies. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
