Accountant - audit preparation (San Antonio, TX)

Clearpath Loom Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around San Antonio. We are hiring an Accountant to take on audit preparation. Service hours are steady. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to warranty claims, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with warranty claims. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Antonio. • We reply to every applicant.
