Accountant - audit preparation (Reno, NV)

Foxglove Junction Medical is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on audit preparation for device records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to device records, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around production lots against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
