Accountant - audit preparation (remote)

Cedar Pine Medical Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on audit preparation for regulatory submissions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 584 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to regulatory submissions, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around clinical evaluations against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with regulatory submissions. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Las Vegas. • We reply to every applicant.
