Accountant - audit preparation (remote)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Fox Pharma Partners and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be audit preparation. People move between science and operations roles. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around quality documentation against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to cleanroom operations, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with cleanroom operations. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Savannah. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
