Accountant - audit preparation (remote)

Highbridge Loom Medical Group designs and makes medical devices in Oklahoma City. We are hiring an Accountant to take on audit preparation. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to clinical evaluations, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with clinical evaluations. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Oklahoma City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
