Accountant - audit preparation (remote)

Greenridge Iron Pharma is a pharmaceutical company in Anchorage producing generic and specialty treatments. We are hiring an Accountant to take on audit preparation. Quality is everyone's job here, not a department. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around cleanroom operations against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with batch records. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
