Accountant - audit preparation (remote)

Stonegate Meadow Pharma is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on audit preparation for batch records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We work to strict standards and value careful documentation. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to batch records, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around quality documentation against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with batch records. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Colorado Springs. • We reply to every applicant.
