Accountant - audit preparation (remote)

We are growing our team at Bright Linden Health Group and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be audit preparation. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around patient scheduling against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with insurance authorisations. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Knoxville. • We reply to every applicant.
